About

About Me

As a Young Adult fiction writer, I examine the crossroads of burgeoning or shifting identity, complex mental health, tumultuous female-led relationships (be they familial, platonic, or romantic), and the compulsory foundational earthquake that is adolescence at its core. All with a twist, of course.

After receiving my BA from Hampshire College with a self-designed major combining Creative Writing and Adolescent Development, I worked in traditional publishing as an Assistant Publicist in general fiction, then later as an Editorial Assistant in children's books. I then wore many hats in the video game industry for a decade, most notably as a Narrative Designer. I now work at an independent bookseller as a Specialist operating their personalized monthly book subscription. As a writer, I was accepted into the '25–'26 cohort of the Peacock Guild, a critique-based writers' salon held in Flannery O'Connor's childhood home.

My current project, a YA Mystery, is my first novel.

Current Project

YA Mystery

Complete at 70,000 words

Sixteen-year-old Lilac and her inseparable friend group must find their missing magnetic ringleader, Daphne (even though she instructed “Don't come looking for me” in a note left for Lilac), as her recent cagey behavior indicates she's more than likely in danger… and Lilac isn't convinced she's not the reason her best friend vanished after a vicious argument. Though as Lilac digs deeper into Daphne's hidden life, she starts to realize how much of her own identity is entangled with a friend she may have never truly known.
